I know a lot of people who claim in my company that they “know” how to use big data – but none who have tried or even successful. But at the same time I know people who have done it like me. In my current project, I have integrated hadoop streaming for my needs with symfony2 and its still running on mysql – no need for mongoDB, as the data loads are not that high at present.
